There are many dog training tactics and tips provided in the best dog training books like Cesar Milan’s The Dog Whisperer. In this bestseller, the creator of the National Geographic show, shows dog owners how to properly train their pets and get the best out of their interactions with their dogs. In this highly acclaimed book, you will learn dog training tricks that will not only build your dog’s confidence in you, but will also build your dog’s bond with you as well. This is because most dog training tricks teach dog owners how to communicate with their dogs better and build a better relationship between the two of them.

One of the dog training tricks presented in Cesar Milan’s The Dog Whisperer is called the “sidewalk inspect”. You can simply do this by getting your dog to lie down on a flat surface, such as a couch or the ground, and then giving him or her a treat while standing on one leg. After which, have your dog lie down and look around.

To start off the walk, have your dog follows you around and then take him or her to the place you want him or her to go at. Walk away from where you’re going and then turn around to face your dog. Then give your dog a treat and turn back around. Repeat this process until your dog trusts you enough to do the same thing when facing a new situation.

Another dog trick that you might want to learn is “The Dance”. The dog, who will be your assistant in this activity, will need to lie down on a flat surface on your command. Have your dog sit or lie down next to you on your sofa or bed. Then, point to a spot on your body, like your stomach or your chest area, and say “The Dance”. Have your dog move his or her rear as you move his or her front legs until you notice a spot on your lower abdomen.

With your dog’s ears forward, begin to rub your dog’s head, which should be covered with a towel, in circles over your thigh. After a minute or so, remove the towel and continue the circling motion. Repeat it in slow circular motions all around the dog’s head, checking in every spot you went. Once your dog understands what you’re doing, have him or her stand up and follow you, keeping eye contact.

A dog’s hearing is on the highest level, so it’s important that you, the dog owner, teach it how to talk. In this dog training tip, you’ll need two treats, one for the dog’s attention and one each time you say the word “Talk” and “ilet.” Praise your dog for each time and when you’re done, have him or her sit down. Have him or her hold onto your lap, rather than on the floor, to start. After a few days of consistently listening to the word “ilet” and performing the command for attention, you should be able to take the dog to the bathroom on your command without the dog becoming nervous.

The last dog training tip we have here is related to dogs’ eyes. Dogs don’t always see things the way we do, so it can be useful to train your dog to watch your hands, not your eyes. To make this work, have a cup of water and some dog treats handy. Have your dog lie down next to your chair or on your lap and have the dog’s ears directly under your chin.

While your dog lies down, move his or her head toward your hand. If your dog’s eyes begin to open, then the dog is ready to be trained. Keep saying the word “hold” until your dog stays still and begins to nod. When the dog’s eyes begin to close slowly, begin saying the word again and moving toward your dog’s ears. Eventually, your dog will stand straight and look directly at you, at your dog’s ears, and at your hand, instead of away from them.
