If you are a new dog owner, then you need to know how to train your Pug. Pugs are very intelligent dogs and they learn quickly. The harder you work with your dog, the faster they learn to do what you ask of them. This article contains some dog training tips to make the whole process easier.

Your dog is probably only able to hold their bladder for a few minutes. A pug typically only needs to go to the bathroom twice in a day and most of that time is during the night. To start potty training your puppy, be sure to leave a few doorways open for them. When you are gone from home, close all the doors except one. That way they know that if they want to use the bathroom, they have to go outside and this will help them learn to hold it in their crate.

Your dog has breathing problems because puppies are born with a naturally short urethra. Because of this, they are forced to hold their urine in for a longer period of time. Because of this breathing problems, you should be aware of any breathing problems your dog may be experiencing such as snoring or having blocked noses.

One of the biggest dog training tips for potty training a Pug is to not let them out of their crate. You should leave them in their crate at least ten to fifteen minutes, or you can even take them out earlier but after they have eaten. The reasoning behind this is that pugs cannot hold their urine in for long periods of time because their system is designed to purge the urine out as quickly as possible. What you want to do is set up a schedule where they get to go out at certain times of the day. Another thing you want to remember is to stick to the schedule. If you don’t stick to the schedule then you will never catch them going potty.

A dog who suffers from breathing problems such as asthma will wheeze more often when you are around. Because they cannot hold their breath for long periods of time, they will wheeze around you and others. You need to catch them soon when they start doing this so that you can encourage them to hold their breath. Another health problems you want to be aware of with your Pug is kidney stones. When a dog is in constant pain, there is a higher chance that he will get kidney stones.

A Pug has a lot of energy and so they need to exercise on a regular basis. If you are constantly leaving them in their crate, they will become bored and want to be left alone for prolonged periods of time. This is when you see them start to develop some bad manners. However, this is also the stage when you can start crate training for your Pug because this is one of the easiest dog training methods you can use. All you have to do is leave a couple of their favorite toys in their crate when they are in the early stages of house training and then take them out for a walk or play some Frisbee with them.

As your Pug continues to grow in size, they will become harder to manage because they will be the biggest dog in the family. This is especially true if you have other dogs in the house that your Pug would potentially fight with or try to hurt. One way to avoid some of these potential problems is to make sure you have a lot of patience and be willing to pay a little extra for professional dog training. The cost will probably be worth it because your Pug will be happier and healthier once they are properly trained. A Pug is the perfect dog for anyone who needs a dog that is loyal and patient, who responds well to training, and who loves to please. While on how to train your pug, you have to be prepared to spend a lot of time and effort to properly care for and train your dog so they will grow up to be the dog that you have always wanted.

It takes a lot of time to properly care for a dog and teach them basic dog training techniques such as how to keep from going inside the house while you are gone. Fortunately, if you decide to get a Pug as a pet, you will have many opportunities to learn how to train your pug effectively. Your Pug will quickly learn that it is better to obey you when inside the house and not run around doing crazy things when you are gone. You will eventually get to a point where you will be able to train your Pug to do what you want when you want, which will greatly improve your dog’s life and general behavior.
