How to train a dog to bring the ball back successfully is one of the most asked questions by dog lovers out there. Most people have tried various ways, methods and techniques in order to get their pets to learn this skill. However, they are usually unsuccessful. The reason being that the training tips and tricks that they use don’t fit and align with their dog’s personality and individuality.

This is why most people always want to know how to train a dog to bring the ball back. If you are new at this then you may be interested to know that this can easily be done. All you need to do is to observe your dog closely. If it loves to hide stuff then it will surely find ways and means to do it. Hence, in order to train the dog to bring the ball, you need to know which things it hides and how to expose them.

You can easily teach your dog that ball is its friend by putting a fake ball close to it. You can also make several fake balls and hide them around the house. Once your dog finds one of these balls then it will try to bring it to you by licking the ground or other surfaces within reach. Hence, this dog training tricks teaches its spirit to be brave and fearless.

But in order to train your dog to bring the ball back successfully, you need to expose it some new circumstances. For instance, let’s say that you are going to train your dog to jump over the fence. Just imagine this scene. It is already dark outside. There is no one around to provide supervision for your dog. Sooner or later, it will just find a way over the fence.

Now you have to expose your dog to a new situation where it might be saved. In this case, you should take it with you when you go out somewhere. You should always keep in mind that if you teach your dog a dog training trick which involves jumping over a fence, then you have to take it over a fence by leading it towards it. If you don’t do that, then you might end up with a dog stuck between two fences or even between two cars. If you want this dog training trick to work in your favor, then you should never allow it to jump on a plane towel or plain old towel.

Other dog training tricks include getting your dog to shake hands with you. This can be done by simply taking it to a public place like a grocery store. Here it can feel comfortable to shake hands with strangers. But to get this dog training trick to work, you should only let it have a single human contact – at least to start with. Then slowly and gradually the number of human encounters will increase.

Another dog training trick is how to train the dog to bring the ball back. This is done by asking your dog to find a ball or a toy which is lying on the ground. The dog should find the object and bring it back to you. After it has successfully brought back the ball, you can then praise your dog with a treat so that it learns what you want it to do.

In addition to these dog training tricks, there are still other dog training tricks which can be made use of to teach your dog about social behaviors. One such trick is to let your dog to stay near you when you are walking out. Your dog should not run after you, because it may end up causing danger for its safety. Instead, guide it towards you and then quietly say “Stay” and let it stay close to you. If you can successfully persuade your dog to do so, then you can consider yourself as one step closer in teaching how to train a dog to bring the ball back.
