Teaching your dog how to sit pretty much takes the same amount of time that it takes you to teach him or her how to speak. It’s simply a matter of patience and consistency. The dog training tricks that I will share with you here are ones that you can use right away in the training sessions with your dog. After all, it is the same as teaching your child how to sit. Of course, before you go out and buy these dog training tricks, you need to know what dog training tricks to use.

One dog training trick that you can try out in your own home is teaching your pooch to lie down on command. To do this, you need to make sure that your dog is in a comfortable position where he or she is not being forced into. For example, if your dog is lying down on your sofa, then you would want to ensure that the dog is comfortable and relaxed first before you get on with it. Then, you need to put your arm behind your dog’s back so that he or she cannot run away from you while you are teaching him or her how to lie down. You can then use the verbal praise and/or dog training tricks that I will mention next.

The hardest tricks to train dogs are the ones that make them feel weak, like they are not doing enough. This makes it more difficult for your dog because then, he or she will tend to look for a way to make up for not doing enough. With the dog training trick that I mentioned earlier, teaching your pooch to lie down can be made easier by putting his or her back against the sofa. With your arm behind your dog’s back, you can tell him or her to lie down.

Here is a good dog training trick for your dog to learn called the “sit pretty dog trick.” To begin, hold the treat in front of your dog and tell him or her to sit. You will want your dog to sit. With a simple demonstration, he or she will sit. After this demonstration, practice saying the command “sit” again and you should have your pooch sitting down almost every time.

Another great dog training trick that my pooch can learn is to “speak.” You can do this by having another dog lie down next to your dog while you say the command. After saying the command, the other dog should sit and repeat after you. Do this several times and your dog will surely look forward to the command to speak each time.

Now, for a few words of caution when using this dog training trick with other dogs. If your dog gets excited or upset while doing this trick, it might backfire on you. Dogs, especially larger breeds, have a tendency to push their luck. And they can also have serious behavior problems when pushed too far.

In order to teach this dog training trick to overcome stubborn dog behavior, always remember to train him in a peaceful and quiet place. Don’t push your dog during training. Always use a consistent training method. Do not reward your pooch until he performs the trick correctly every time. And most importantly, don’t yell or scream at your pet during the training.

A great dog trick to teach is the “down-stay” demonstration. To start, have another dog to lie down next to your dog. Have the second dog step forward and sit down next to your dog. Have your dog perform the down-stay demonstration. Reward your dog with praise if he successfully performed the demonstration.
