A dog is really a great friend. Apart from being a loyal pet and guarding your home, your dog could also be trained as an emotional support dog. If you wish for your dog to become your emotional support dog, you have to be aware of this important information on dog training tricks. Knowing these dog training tips will be helpful in having a well trained dog.

The emotional support dog training is mostly divided into two types; one is through weekly therapy sessions and the other is through streaming service. In the weekly therapy sessions, you would be having your dog for only ten minutes. The dog will have to be brought to the vet for a checkup before the session, and also you would have to pay the vet for the visit fee. But this type of dog training does not require you going to the vet, and you only pay when your dog exhibits a symptom or when you notice that your dog exhibits behavior problems.

Streaming service, on the other hand is the type of dog training that uses a professional for the entire duration. The professional will take your furry friend to several different dog training schools. During these dog training sessions, the sessions are conducted in a friendly manner, without the use of force. Sometimes, the sessions are held outside the home of the owner. These sessions are very effective and they have proven to be more effective than sessions conducted at the vets.

An emotional support trained dog could be taught how to do many different things, such as obedience training, agility training, dog medicine training and tracking. You could teach your dog how to walk itself, sit, lie down, stand up, play fetch, and many others. There are many more tasks that could be taught to your dog if you have a trained dog that is friendly and willing to learn. Your dog will act friendly behavior toward its owners whenever the owners, both you and the dog, show some kind gestures and positive reinforcement.

When you introduce your dog to its first official dog training session, it is always suggested to start off by taking your dog for a walk. The aim of the walk is to familiarize your dog with the outside environment where the training sessions will be held. This will help the dog to calm down and will prevent the dog from being nervous when the training sessions begin. Your dog will also get to know the commands it has to learn.

After a walk, make sure your dog has emptied its bowl and then let it to relieve itself at the same place where you wish to hold the training session. Keep in mind that it is important that you teach your dog how to sit and stay when you wish to toilet train it. A good way to teach your dog how to sit and stay is by offering it a treat. By providing your dog with a treat when it responds correctly to the potty training command, it will get a strong sense of pleasure and will be more eager to follow the commands.

Some dog training experts recommend that you take your dog along for some in-home training sessions. This can be very helpful especially for those who do not have time to attend dog training classes. This will not only help you control your dog’s behavior, but it will also help you teach yourself how your dog reacts to various situations.

Once your puppy is completely house trained, you should then familiarize yourself with different types of commands. Sit, stay, heel… these are just a few of the commands that you may want to teach your dog. A dog owner who does not master the commands given to their dog often resorts to punishing the puppy with an angry tone or a harsh voice. In addition to this, they fail to realize that this kind of shouting is not actually helpful and can be quite dangerous.
