How to train your Yorkie dog can be a difficult chore at times. You want to spend as much quality time with your dog as possible. Yorkies are extremely intelligent dogs and they greatly respond to consistency in their training. They love to learn new things and want to spend that extra time with you so you spend the extra time training them. There are many Yorkie dog training tips that will allow you to have the best relationship with your dog.

Consistency is essential in how to train your Yorkie. It is important that you teach your dog the basics, such as obedience training, some commands and how to play. Always make sure to always stay consistent and don’t give up, even if your dog makes you feel silly or makes things harder than they actually are. Never let your dog fall behind or get too ahead of you during training. Always be the leader.

Always remember to have fun when training your dog. Most dog training tricks are designed to make the dog perform a certain action. For example, if you were teaching a dog how to sit, then it would be important not to force the dog into sitting down right away. Allow the dog to take its own time and do what it wants to do, then reward it for doing what you ask.

Training your dog should be done in sessions that are separated by just a few minutes. Each session should be done with a short amount of time so you can teach your dog what is expected of it. When learning how to train your Yorkie, try to think like your dog. If you tell your dog to sit down and it starts to pout, then the dog isn’t ready for that particular command. Teach your dog one at a time so that it will learn easier.

One of the most important aspects of dog training is reinforcement. Reinforcement means rewarding your dog for a job well done. You can give your dog a treat or a ball so that it will remember what you have asked it to do. Rewarding your dog is one of the best dog training tricks you can learn because it is enjoyable for both of you.

One of the biggest problems that pet owners and dog trainers encounter with is that they don’t communicate effectively with their dogs. This is especially true when it comes to how to train your Yorkie. Your dog wants to know that you are pleased with its performance, but it is up to you to give it the encouragement it needs to continue doing what you want it to do. When you learn how to train your Yorkie by praising and correcting it when it does something wrong, you will have a much better hand on training your dog because you can use your voice to reinforce its behavior.

A dog is basically a pack animal and each member of the pack has a specific role to play. Dogs are supposed to hunt, protect, and bring back food to the family. You teach your dog these roles through dog training tricks such as teaching it to sit or stay. If you want to get your dog to do any other task, then you have to be able to tell it what to do without telling it what not to do. That is why it is important to understand your dog’s personality and communication to know how to train your Yorkie.

One of the most important dog training tricks is to be consistent. A dog is like a child. It needs boundaries to survive, and if you constantly allow it to go out and do whatever it wants, it will not learn how to behave properly. You need to stick to your guns because if you don’t, your dog might start to believe that you don’t care and will begin to rebel against you and try to get away from you. Train your Yorkie by always being firm and consistent with your training methods, and in no time at all, you and your dog will both know who is in charge.
