One of the most common sights we see when going out is a dog that simply cannot be bothered to follow your commands. It may jump on people, run wildly across the road, or just behave in a way that shows it has no respect for human beings. If this happens to you or your family, it is time to start obedience training for your dog. First off, there are some things you should know about dog training commands before even thinking about starting the process. Once you understand these things, you will be able to train your puppy better and have a happier experience while you are in the dog’s company.

One of the reasons why your puppy does not obey commands is that it is just still a puppy. A puppy is typically so much more playful than an older dog and is much less controlled by its training. Therefore, you have to start training a puppy from scratch. You can’t expect a mature dog to listen to you when you are trying to teach it some obedience commands.

In order to start dog training from scratch, you first have to establish yourself as the leader of the pack. This should be an easy task as there is no other dog alive that will obey you without your command! Just tell your dog to sit and then give him a treat. It will bring him in line, but he won’t do anything else until you say it. Once he learns this simple dog training tricks, he will quickly learn all the dog training tricks you want him to.

If your puppy has behavior problems before you even get to the dog training stage, it is best not to use any dog training tricks when you first get him. Instead, you should try to solve the problem the natural way. This will make your dog more comfortable with the idea of following your commands. When the puppy comes to know that you are the leader of his pack, he will be more willing to follow you.

One dog training tricks that you can try out right away is teaching your dog how to sit. You can do this while having him lie down next to you so that he can learn to stay calm in front of you. You will need a few dog training tricks like a headlock and a sit-stay-fetch setup to progress successfully.

To perform a headlock, you will need to position the dog in a sitting position. Then, you need to hold a dog bite leash close by and pull it tight. The puppy should look straight ahead until you say “head lock”. The dog should then turn his head and look at you. You should repeat the process a couple of times. This will teach your puppy that when you say “head lock”, he needs to look straight at you.

Another dog training tricks you can try is to teach your dog to walk beside you on a leash. For this purpose, you need to hold a dog leash with both hands. Your puppy should stand by the side of you and walk beside you while you say “walk”. He should proceed forward until you say stop or else.

If you wish to increase the confidence of your dog, you can take him for dog walks. Walking with your dog provides him with an opportunity to explore your surroundings. It also helps you to observe the behavior of other dogs. Dog walking is one of the dog training tricks that you can teach your dog to learn. With these dog training tricks, you will be able to teach your puppy to walk properly and to be obedient to your commands.
